The Société d'Activités Culturelles of Longirod has decided to organise the LONG'I'ROCK Music'open-air festival, in order for the public to enjoy three days of rock music in a magnificent natural environment.
The event will take place from 13th to 15th May 2010 in Longirod, a charming village of around four hundred inhabitants, located between lakes and mountains forty kilometres from Lausanne and Geneva.
The festival site will be able to accommodate up to 50'000 people in an area of 4 hectares. In total, 40 acts are scheduled to play on 3 main stages and there will be around 70 stands mounted for bars, food, handicrafts, merchandising and others.
Located in the canton of Vaud Jura hills, surrounded by numerous forests and natural reserves as well as agricultural land, Longirod benefits from spectacular views of the Swiss and French Alps and the Léman Lake.
The aim is to make this a joyful and unique event that will stay in everyone's memories, not only for its considerable size and beauty but also for its high quality line-up.
We are therefore inviting all music lovers, males and females, rich and poor, young and old, sportsmen and alcoholics, to come and participate to this unforgettable party, because there will only be one!
